If I keep it in the current LGK vernacular then you are guaranteed to continue hearing it every single time the Kings are down by 4 goals late in the third period. Your typical LGKer will never acknowledge the fact that these types of comebacks happen once or twice a decade, hence the nicknames. In the end the only ones who suffer are the rational, pragmatic King fans who have to listen to that crap again and again.

Hayward was a hockey player (kinda) and knows the game of hockey well. He may be a homer, but so are Bob and Foxy. Ahlers is a terrible announcer who has a crush on Hayward. Pay attention to how he looks at him during their broadcasts. No heterosexual man should ever look at another man the way he looks at Brian Hayward.
Good news.. no one in LA gives a **** about the Kings... the Ducks aren't even a blip on the radar and they're actually good. If they can't generate more buzz than they did winning the Cup last year... it's hopeless.
Their announcers? Dryer lint is more interesting.
Winning a championship might change that. While I don't know if the city would rally around the team like 93', it would be one hell of a ride.
seriously...I would rather listen to the Ducks tv broadcast than their radio play-by-play guys...D'oh...it's painful...I dunno who they are...but for ****'s sake you would think a (God it pains me to say this) Stanley Cup team would have better representation..
Totally disagree-their radio play by play guy is much better then Ahlers.
I wish he and the Lakers would just curl up and die. However, Hayward is not as bad as John Ahlers. Now I wish he would jump into a pool of razor blades and then take a lemon juice shower
