Do you guys not understand that this a deep draft. There are a lot of solid D prospects available in the first few rounds. Why give up so much to get the #3 pick, when we don't need to. We need to keep the Dallas pick where it is, or move it with other pics, not players (unless its cammy). We don't need to get pic #3 , but 7-9 to get Schenn would be good. Hell, Schenn might even go around 10th or so. It will also not cost nearly as much as going for the 3rd freakin pick. Hell, Tyler Myers could go out of the top 10, and he would be a solid pick. Same with John Carlson, and Colten Teubert later in the first round. We might get Teubert with the Dallas pick as it stands.
...and so the infamous "Cammy and a pick" threads resume their proper place clogging up the leaderboard of LGK.

It is always a good idea to trade an asset following an off year right before they are going into their last pre UFA season. And yes I know Cammy is pissed he lost in arbitration - if we are going to move him it should be at the deadline when he has been tearing it up.
Personally I'd rather try and sign him to an extension now because his value is a bit lower but we know what he is capable of. He is a good second line winger who isn't afraid to go into the goal scoring areas to make a play. I think he is an incredible competitor and he just had an off year. Give him a decent centreman and he'll be fine.
