I have a autograph stick of the team in !988-89
Luc, Wayne and the team.

I look at the stick and remember those good old days.
Lots of action and fighting.

Right about the time I was growing out of my first hockey stick, McSorley was at a local sporting goods store signing autographs. I went there, bought a new stick, and had him sign the old one

Not a Kings stick and not autographed, but...


When I was a kid we vacationed in Alberta one year, I snuck into an unlocked door at the old Calgary Stampede arena. In the stands was a broken Craig MacTavish stick, he was playing for the Hitmen or some minor league team trying to come back from the whole vehicular manslaughter thing. I took the stick and reached over the glass and scooped a puck from off the top of the goal. Dragged the stick around Canada for 2 weeks and flew home with it. It was really years later that I developed a hatred for the guy.

I have a bunch of game used sticks that I bought for $20 when they used to liquidate them at the Slap Shop. Lots of obscure guys. Also have a Gretzky wood Titan and silver Easton, a Mario Lemieux, Brett Hull (easton), Yzerman, Robitaille, Fedorov, Pavol Bure and some other various lumber stacked in the corner right here in the office. Probably 50 total, most of them wood. They used to be real easy to get.

The only game used stick I have is from Michel Goulet. For a short time he held the season point record for left wingers until it was broken by Kevin Stevens and then Luc Robitaille.


Not game used but I also have Luc's Koho signature stick from 95-96 (Rangers colors) as well as a matching replacement blade. I also have Luc's signature Sher-Wood stick from 91-92. Both are unused and left-handed. Bought em new just to have as collectables.
