About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. I haven't seen this discussed for a long time, so.... has anyone found any "hockey bars" in SoCal? In other words... somewhere where you know you can
I haven't seen this discussed for a long time, so.... has anyone found any "hockey bars" in SoCal? In other words... somewhere where you know you can go durnig a Kings road game and know you will see the game, instead of having the bartender say "no, we're watching poker instead" or something along that line.
I'm also very interested in any SoCal bars, anywhere, that have the Center Ice package. The Fox Skybox in Staples is the only place I know of -- but it is only open game nights.
In the Valley, Soup's Grill is in Woodland Hills on Ventura. It's new and they have Center Ice. There's enough tvs for them to put on any game or two or three for you. And it's all HD.
Wow! They can make the games that aren't HD broadcasts into HD? That's cool.
Hell yeah. It's kind of well known that all you need is a Satellite wireless connection of digital multimedia cable provider HD sound picture television converter box to make anything into HD. Even old black and white movies. They're expensive though.

Biltmore Hotel downtown has a sports bar with at least 20 tvs and will put on any game for you. Plus they have a really decent happy hour so you can eat and drink for less than what you'd spend at Staples on gamenight!
