If we can get a decent return outta Preissing, I do not see a reason not to pull it off. Harrold looks like he is ready to step in and do a decent job.
Harrold looks solid and I think he could be ready but one game isn't enough to know for sure... that said, with Blake hurt we should know before the team gets back to LA if he is ready. I hope he is, I like the kid and he was very aggressive with the puck tonight.
Keep Priessing, but after the fire sale, we might want to keep Harrold up. Give him the rest of the road trip to prove himself, but I liked what I saw tonight.
I counted 6 Modry turnovers tonight in the first period and 2 minutes into the second period. He was directly responsible for 3 of the goals.
Yeah, you might want to check the tape. Alot of those giveaways lately have been Lubo's doing and it's not Modry's fault that it's his turn in the barrel to play opposite him right now. You forget already how Blake was around a minus 17 when he was playing with Vis earlier in the year and how after they got split up Blake's +/- went down to about -7 ? Lubo sucks this year.
Oh, and I don't know if Harrold is better than Preissing but he sure looks like he should stay around awhile. I think alot of the kids should be playing by now, I'd like to see Petiot as well at some point.

I mean, have you bothered to look at our D-Man contract situation and next season..?
No doubt. . . I think we have Lubo, JMFJ, and Preissing under contract for next year. That's it. Preissing is what he is, a PP guy and a puck mover who is a decent PK guy. I don't know why everyone expects him to manhandle guys in front of the net. Put him opposite a decent stay at home type who will handle the dirty work and I think you'll see him thrive. Plus he's not that big of a cap hit. The armchair GM's should stop trading him.
Next year, I would not mind seeing Norstrom and Blake back at a significantly reduced rate. I think Priessinng and Stuart are playing better now and could stick around, Harold looked like a guy who is ready to stay in the NHL, and Vis just sucks this year, and if we could get decent value for him, I would not mind it. Scoring from D-men is down and that is what he is, an ofennsive D-man. He turns the puck over too much and has really been dissapointing. I would not hesitate to pull the trigger for another scorer, but thats just me. I think our D is coming along nicely and will be improved next year if we keep most of the same parts in place.
Johnson-Blake
Stuart-Harold
Prieissing-Norstrom
Petiot or Dallman
