The Kings, in partnership with Waste Management, will host three Green Games at STAPLES Center during the final three months of the 2007-08 season. The Green Games are scheduled for Friday, February 15 (when the Kings host Calgary), Thursday, March 6 (when the Kings host Ottawa) and Thursday, April 3 (when the Kings host San Jose).
For the Kings-Flames game on February 15, Waste Management will kick-off the Green Games promotion by giving away 5,000 rally towels to Kings fans. Limited edition Green Pucks will also be sold at Team LA with proceeds donated to non-profits working to improve the environment throughout Southern California. Fans can also take advantage of special Green Games ticket packages by visiting LAKings.com/greengames or by calling 888-KINGS-LA.

Great, so let's support environmental awareness by encouraging mindless consumption of material goods that were made in China, and shipped on a massive diesel container ship that probably idled in San Pedro harbor for a day before offloaded, at which point the towels were put onto diesel trucks and driven up to staples spewing particulate matter all the way. This is like the Exxon/Mobile commercial where they talk about all the alternative energy they're investing in. Say it with me people: "Bull****"
