Alex may not be as completely versatile as Brown in that he doesn't initiate contact, but Alex's positives (puckhandling, playmaking, consistency, hockey sense) taken as a whole are greater than Brown's positives.

Frolov doesn't have Kopitar's amazing skill, but Anze has yet to fully get a handle on his ability. Kopitar has been inconsistent at times from shift to shift, especially defensively, and his hockey sense is still catching up to his raw talent.

The fact of the matter is that right now, Frolov is the Kings' best player.

It is a toss up on either Kopitar or Brown, but this is all speculation right now. Obviously we don't know who truly will be the most talented player on the team in the future but for right now it sure seems like Kopitar is in line to be. I would choose Kopitar because he is likely a franchise King that isn't going anywhere for over a decade, appears to be the most talented, currently is being touted as the face of the Kings, has been improving considerably and consistently since being drafted, and he plays one of three of the most important positions on the team.

The best thing for the Kings is they are still getting better, we find a new center (Stamkos) for Frolov and he could be 40 goals next year

Fortunately for all of us, this is a choice, DL will never have to make. But he could be in a position to make a decision between players like Fro, Cammy, Sully in the future and he better get it right! (hint: don't let Fro&Sully go, bitch!)
