I hope you mean on Vancouver, and not out of the entire league. I'm pretty sure that with Auld, Bryan Allen and all the Manitoba Moose goalies, they could find at least 10 guys better than Cloutier.
I hope he gets his shutout though! Even though he's making 3 mil for it, it's hard to watch the guy sit on the sideline for so long, when he really seems to want to prove himself.
I'd rather see him trying to do the things he does well - like finding an hole in the D and firing his patented from the knee one timer. Let who are bigger and stronger try and jam the puck. I don't fault the effort, I have issues with the selfishness shown by him pulling the 1-on-3 garbage that leads to a turnover 90% of the time. If he'd play less selfishly he'd be better player. And I might even change my mind about him needing to be shipped out come draft day.....
In 3 games Cloutier is 2 - 0 with 1 DNF. He has yet to allow more than 2 goals in a game. Is the Hate Barge that much more attractive than The Bus. The guy is wearing a Kings uniform, isn't he?
