I'm already noticing a HUGE difference between the amount of movement on this year's team when compared to last years team. That was a very frustrating system of hockey we had to watch last year.

I don't seem to recall that he got 1st line PP duty but maybe got a few shots on the 2nd on occasion. Not much that I can recall though.

Agreed, I think the system they played last year was awful and boring.

Seriously. Everyone looks so much more disciplined, not looking like just one big ****ing scramble play.

Kings are much more aggressive so far on the defensive end. Last year, we sat around and let the other team run their playbook on us.

Understandably lots of broken plays, but the grit is there and that alone is big improvement.

Exactly what I'm seeing. Last season I remember watching entire games wondering why the F they just let the other team skate and pass around them with zero pressure being applied.
