Can we admit that once again it's a team full of bums (excluding Fro, Brown and Anze) and that our youth is simply that, young, inexperienced, and in for a very rough ride?
This game could have and should have been SO much worse. I'm sure others will be.
You people are stupid. For real. This team has to build some chemistry. Let them have some time to getl. The Kings have had a complete team turn around for years. Give the kids some time to gel.
You're welcome. And here's to many more of these kinds of agreements as the season moves along. Also of note, bad goal or not, Labs posted a .927.
BTW, is it really Jack or Drew's fault they could only muster 13 shots on goal? 1 of the 12 shots that didn't go in was DD's. So, 12 forwards could only get 12 shots on net? Moulson proved he has no business on the top line regardless of POS missing camp. I can only assume POS playing on the top line tomorrow night will yield a few more shots on net.

It's not like they look scared or apprehensive, just, like you said, no fire.
I disagree.
Frolov looked like he's never had an injured groin in his life. Brown was being creative with the puck all night long. Moeller was creative with the puck and didn't seem nervous out there. All three were busting their ass. Don't confuse "no fire" with "not much talent."
Other thoughts:
I would have liked to see a little more from Kopitar.
This team misses O'Sullivan.
The defense is either AHL caliber or too young. You think it's a coincidence this team gave up 50 shots on goal tonight? Get used to it.
LaBarbera was **** wrapped in crap. Dude was swimming all night and that second goal was pathetic.
Doughty was ok. Not bad, not great, jut ok.
Simmonds looked like a 4th liner.
I see no reason for Armstrong or Richardson to play over Boyle at this point.
All in all about what I expected, though I would rather see the kings lose 8-5 than 3-1.
Walking out of the shark tank last night was not pleasant, I cant wait to fly home today. Hopefully the kings can muster some kind of offense tonight. LaBarbara played well I think, I dont remember the last time he had 38 saves.
