Thomas Hickey isn't any closer to playing in the NHL.

Now that I've beaten Perry/Boyle thing to DEATH - I had to find something NEW to bitch about for the NEXT four years.

(And in a former posters blog, the former director of scouting claimed if he had it to do again and again, he STILL would have taken Boyle over Perry - I'm so glad he's gone)

I wouldn't take Gagner over Hickey. Voracek on the other hand...

Right now, I'd rather have Voracek putting up 2pts/gm in the Q than Gagner putting up 0.55 pts/gm in the NHL. Just image next season...

That's probably what the Buffalo Sabres said about Brian Campbell.

Will someone who's going to the Breakfast w/ the GM please ask Dean how he defines "longterm investment" in this new era where the CBA makes guys UFA between ages 25-27 and smallish defenders like Hickey will take years before they're ready for NHL prime time?
