About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. I went on the BBS for the Soo Greyhounds and asked for any reflections on
Wayne Simmonds anybody might have.
I got a few responses. Here they are:
Reflections on
I say he still needs to add a few pounds to sufficiently ply his trade in the NHL, but all the other attributes seem to be in place........I think this pick could go either way at the mo'
This season will tell
minor correction, he is listed at 6.02 / 175 lbs (Wayne Simmonds's hockey statistics profile at hockeydb.com) but has put on at least another 5 lbs since that stat was listed. Eat more steaks...I agree, but for even a kid his size, he packs a lot of power behind it. Looking forward to maybe another 15 - 20 lbs., should be dangerous.
And then repeat that cycle for lunch too! Then, repeat for dinner. Continue cycle the whole summer.
In prime conditions, I've heard a human can add, a 1/2 pound of weight per week (if you want the weight to be healthy and mostly muscle mass). So if Simmonds dedicates himself next summer to putting on the weight, THE RIGHT WAY, he could gain up to 15-20 pounds before the 2009-2010 season.

How did a discussion on Wayne Simmonds turn into a food-porn thread?!? Lol. Now I'm going to go put on about 15lbs at lunch. Excuse me. . .
