For those of you coming from the great City of Long Beach and your taking a long beach transit bus to the metro station, heads up, long beach transit is on some major detours today due to the race in long beach, here is the info if your planning to arrive early at staples for the early events....I will try this season to post any updates for all of you who take the metro to staples to give you a heads up.!!!!

Long Beach International City Bank Marathon

Operation of the following routes will be affected due to the marathon: 21, 22, 46, 91, 94, 131, 173, 181, 182, and Passport lines A, B, C, & D. Routes will detour as noted from the beginning of the service day until 3:00 PM, unless otherwise indicated.
Passport A: No service until 3:00 PM
Passport B: No service for the span of the entire service day.
Passport C: All downtown Long Beach stops south of the Transit Mall at First Street and Pine Avenue will be bypassed. The Passport C will take an alternate route from the Transit Mall directly to the Queen Mary and back, then proceed with all regular stops north of the Transit Mall.
Passport D: Traveling away from downtown Long Beach, all regular route stops past the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue, and before the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Loynes, will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Reverse for travel into Downtown Long Beach.
Routes 21, 22: Traveling away from downtown Long Beach, all regular route stops past the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue, and before the corner of Broadway and Cherry Avenue, will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Reverse for travel into Downtown Long Beach.
Route 46: Traveling away from downtown Long Beach, all regular route stops east of the corner of Anaheim Street and Ximeno Avenue will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Trips bound toward downtown Long Beach will begin at Anaheim Street and Ximeno Avenue.
Routes 91, 94: Expect intermittent delays at 7th Street and Park Avenue, and Bellflower Avenue at Atherton in both directions. Regular routing will continue.
Route 131: Traveling south toward Belmont Shore, all stops past the corner of Redondo Avenue and 2nd Street will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Reverse trips north toward Wardlow Station will commence at Redondo Avenue and Broadway Avenue.
Route 173: Traveling away from downtown Long Beach, all stops past the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Ximeno Avenue, and before the corner of Studebaker and Stearns Street will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Reverse for travel into downtown Long Beach.
Routes 181, 182: Traveling east away from downtown Long Beach, all stops past the corner of 4th Street and Roswell Avenue will be bypassed because of an alternate route. Reverse trips west toward downtown Long Beach will commence at 4th Street and Termino Avenue.
