Keep it simple. "Kid" comes to mind (i.e. "Good save kid!"), or "The Swede". Which reminds me of a rhyme I heard in Norway:

10,000 Swedes being chased through the reeds by 1 Norwegian.

Seriously though, nicknames are usually earned on the ice and given by the player's teammates. Why does anyone feel the need to fabricate one?
