The Reign lost their home opener in front of 8,067 rowdy fans at Citizens Business Bank Arena. They were atrocious on the power play as always. I'm not sold on this new goalie, Darling. But hey, we got glowing thunderstix!

The Reign were an incredibly UNdisciplined team last night. If that continues it will be a long seasons. The PP was also weak they had about 7 minutes of PP with just a few shots. Taking far too much time trying to set something up.
Tonight we get Bakerfield, they should be bring some fans with them.

The Reign were fortunate that Zacharias was great tonight. King had a goal, Hogeboom had two assists, and Pelech was +1. Chad Sterling was terrible as usual, but managed two assists. Lene looked so adorable in his over sized jersey. I wore my Oscar the Grouch costume :
Something funny I noticed halfway through the game, and pointed out to Dexter- Chad Starling's name was misspelled as "Sterling" on his jersey. I wonder how much that one fetched at the post-game auction.
We stayed for the post game auctions What is wronmg with these people. Most went for 1000 or more the ones that fell short of 1000 were all above 700. Germain went for 2100ish. Crazy prices for these jerseys everytime.
Game was far better played than the LV game on Friday. no stupid penaties and the passing seemed crisper.Not nearly as physical as the LV and Reign get the points. Las Vegas is back tomorrow again.

I think the more specialty jerseys they have the more likely the prices will start to drop. They can't stay that high forever.
