good game they just need to put together a few more like this. Lenes is fun to watch but a definate liability on the ice. I don't think he has ever passed the puch once he gets it in the attacking zone.
Did you notice the sign of discontent Sat night by the fans? one even calling for the firing of coach Taylor
Haha yes, that guy used to sit behind me last season. He has been calling for Taylor's resignation since last season. He also had a paper bag over his head that said "Reign Fan".
Ahhh, I recall with fondness the loud chants of "Karl must go" during the 2008 playoffs...
of course we didn't even GET to the playoffs last year
..............ummmm
nevermind.
But I also recall that year how after we went into Cincy and took 2 out of 3, the team came home with a 3-2 lead, and decided to play milquetoast hockey. Which was totally bewildering because we won the first series and 3 games in the second series by playing tough, gritty hockey. Instead KT decided to out finesse a finesse team.
I believe KT was responsible for not having the team stoked to win the division championship at home against the team who had the most points in the league that year. Instead, Cincy went on to win that series 4-3, including blowing us out in game 7. Ultimately, they won the Kelly Cup.
It should also be noted that Taylor also benched Scott Parse when he was sent down to Reading from Manchester that same year, in favor of his hand picked boys.
KT and his hand picked faves are becoming a REAL issue in Ontario now.
The team has completely lost it the locker room is divided and the product on the ice SUCKS big donkey Balls.
they have lost 5-0,3-2( after being down 3-0) and 7-0 this weekend. Mind you these was maybe the most important weekend in the franchises brief history.
The players have given up and it is now showing on the ice.
The worse part is he is under contract and Management won't fire him and have to buy him out and pay a new coach. The team with the best attendance in the ECHL has the 2nd worst team and we are stuck with it until seasons end. Can't wait for meet the players next month. The bag are already ready for the next game

Even though I'm JUST a paying customer in the stands, I do know a bit about the game. The team hasn't been consistant since day 1 this season. The loss of Reault, Walker, and King up to Manch hasn't helped either. Obviously there's a depth problem since last year when we had Zats, Holloway, and Teubs. Players like Jackson and Curran have had a season full of setbacks. The PP blows and I'm not quite sure of the new assistant coach and what he's actually contributing yet. I'll defend KT at this point. 99% of the Reign is chosen by him so far this year. The Kings haven't put any viable prospects on the roster thus far as I know of. It's easy to say that the team has given up and that KT perhaps has lost control. I don't know where you get your info from pertaining to a divided locker room. Some discontent may be brewing for some of the fans, that's a given. Losing will do this to the base over time. I'm hoping that things will turn around. There's still time and one can only hope. But if this club doesn't get any decent young prospects from the parent club soon, it'll be one of those lost years.
