Dwight King played a so so game but the Lethbridge Hurricanes still won 4-0 to take the opening series against Brandon Wheat-Kings 4 games to 2. Game Six wasn't a particularly exciting game. Luca Sbisa a future high first rounder in '08 went to toe-to-toe with the talented and gritty, future top 6 pick in '09 Brayden Schenn(yes the brother of Luke Schenn). Brayden is a Centerman and will one day be a front line player on a NHL team soon. Anyways...Luca Sbisa and Brayden Schenn thru the knuckles tonite. It was even with both throwing about 4-5 each until Schenn got in some rights that caught Sbisa off. As Sbisa recovered he came back and threw some more punches. Luca Sbisa is rated #18 by Central Scouting and Colby Robak #8 at the mid-way point. After watching Sbisa score yet again(I think that was his 3rd goal of the series) and add an assist in game 6, it is safe to say that Sbisa has over taken Robak as a top 10 pick for the upcoming 2008 NHL Draft.
PS Sbisa looks awesome and is getting better and better, gaining more and more confidence in defending and rushing with the puck...He scored a nice goal that caught the bottom right-hand corner of the net. Sbisa's shot is not MacInnis like but his does have some zing to it nonetheless...
DPS The scouts must be drooling now that they have seen Luca Sbisa chuck the knuckles without being the worst for wear in any of his tilts...this kid is tough enough
and he has talent..Love to see the Kings get this kid he reminds me of Paul Coffey with Toughness and a Defensive game.
