I know I hate the Rangers and all but I like seeing Steve Valiquette's name on that list. That dude has serious potential and could take Lundquist's job eventually. Eh, who listens to me though? I always thought Glen Healy was superior to Mike Richter.
With all that being said, you can't argue with Brownie being on that list.

Valiqutte is already 30 years old and four years older than Lundqvist. He has been a career AHL and NHL backup since the late 90s. I don't know how he is going to spawn into a Vezina candidate when he is already past his prime... I seriously hope you are joking.

Honestly, I know nothing of his past or age. I just remember watching a game or two of his this past season and I was impressed, that's all I'm saying. Vezina candidate? Nah, let's not go crazy here, I wasn't saying anything of that sort.

You basically said he could potentially take Lundqvist's job. Ludqvist is a Vezina candidate, so for Valiquette to take his job, he would have to put of Vezina caliber numbers.

I see what you're saying there and you make a good point. I guess this one of those cases where I am just a bit biased towards the Rangers and don't give as much credit to Lundqvist as everyone does. In my head I don't see Henrik as a Vezina candidate but please take into consideration that I said in MY head and I admit that I am biased towards the Rangers. Hmm, I pretty much said that when it comes to NYR, don't listen to a word I say, oh well.
I don't agree with Brown being a second line guy though.... I noticed they rest of the list is based on where they play on their respected teams....
Not really seeing as how Toews is Chicago's first line center and Malone played with Malkin and Sykora which was Pittsburgh's #1 line when Crosby was out.
