I'm assuming all of the yes answers sarcastic. There's no way his number gets retired. His legacy is a Norris trophy, a trip to the finals, and that's pretty much it. Big deal. He's comfortably in the Bernie Nicholls/Charlie Simmer "pretty darn good" wing of the Kings hall of fame. That doesn't warrant a retired number.

Are you kidding me?....Rob Blake is the best defensemen the Kings will ever have! he didnt do anything for LA...I see how people forget that Blake was one of our top 2 defensmen when the Kings went to the finals in 93...."Deader" never got hte kings past the 2nd round...and you want to retire #28! You people fault Blake for wanting to be traded and wanting more money....hockey...is a business...just like every other sport. Robitaille left the Kings..why don't you guys hate him?
