Both the Sharks and the Stars have made themselves significantly better over the long haul with their acquisitions today. Richards is a machine and Holmer will be a good back up for Turco. Campbell (who will resign in San Jose) makes that defense much better in front of Nabby. We are not making ourselves any better by sitting around doing nothing. Whether Blake moves or not what about the other dead weight that needs to be cut loose (Stuart, Nagy, etc.)? Why isnt Cammalleri being actively shopped? I dont understand this lack of activity after 2, not just 1, team in our own division have made themselves considerably better not just for this year but for years to come.

Come on management - lets get on the ball here.
To be honest the fewer moves that DL makes the better. Keep some continuity to this team to allow them to get better together.
So now that the deadline has passed - tell me where you think next years Kings rank in the Pacific Division. Everyone got better but us. You can talk all you want about Richard salary and, I repeat, I will be shocked if Campbell doesnt resign (and Hossa too - Wow the Pens overpaid in my opinion - if he ends up a rental). Even the Yotes nutted up and made a good move - Montoya to back up Bryz is a good move. So now lets look
San Jose - Goalie check
Top 6 forwards check (Cheechoo is having an off year and theyre still winning)
#1 young DMan check
Dallas - Goalie and good backup check
Top 6 forwards (that will kick our a** all year long - again) check
Defense - old and not gettign better with Norstrom leaving - so ray of hope
Anahiem - Dont get me started please
Phoenix - Goalie - check
Top 6 forwards - if they resign Vrbata - check
Defense - Jovanovsky - enough said - check
LA - Goalie - nowhere to be found
top 6 forwards - here i smile for next year - but still hard to compete with the vets and skills of Dallas and the youth and power of Anaheim
Defense - yeah Jack and ?
So you tell me oh wise ones. where do we go from here - to the imginary draft pick bank (with 14 for next year). Anyone really think that any amount of those are gonna get us Stamkos?
In answer to your question CBGB - no i was not ready for the dissapointment - but it came anyway.
Thanks Dean - at least my refresh button got a workout today
Cause the brain trust on LGK thinks he should be?
Cause he asked for arbitration after scoring 80+ points and 30+ goals?
I dont get it.
Please explain to me WHY the Kings should shop Cammeleri.
I mean, he IS under contract for all of next year, plenty of time to both negotiate with him, enjoy what should be substantial production, perhaps make a playoff run, and if out of it and no movement in contract negotiation...trade him at NEXT YEARS deadline.
I cant see any viable reason to actively shop the guy.
I mean, i doubt DL would hang up on someone if they called to ask about him.
