My friend seems convinced they do... the deal he thinks is going on is $10 tickets on Thursday nights if you have a student ID. Is this promotion still going on?
it is. i just got some for the ottawa game. it's every thursday:
$10 for 300 level seats
$20 for 200 levels
$40 for 100s.
Argh. I just inquired about this the other night and the dude at Staples Center had no idea what I was talking about. After leaving me waiting there for about 5 minutes he came back and told me that it was $10, $20, and $40 *OFF* of those section's ticket prices! So I didn't get one.
Another question: Are you only allowed to purchase 1 ticket per ID?

College Nights are GREAT, but the staff is very iffy because they give me different responses sometimes.
1st time - 10/25/07 (Stars @ Kings) My sister and I both have our college IDs. They guy gave us a section automatically. I sat in the 200s for 20 bucks each. I think I got Section 210. This guy did try to get me 100 level seats for 20 bucks each and not 40 bucks, but he said the system didn't let him. I don't know if he really tried or not... he just said it as a good gesture.
2nd time - 1/10/08 (Leafs @ Kings) A lady said she only needed to see one ID, and you can purchase whatever amount of tickets needed. I wanted tickets in the 300 sections this time around. She asked me which section I would like, but didn't say it on the microphone in the box office, so I couldn't hear her. She apparently was short tempered and got angry by the time I understood her (barely). I picked section 320 (Kings shoot twice).
Also, you don't need to wait until Thursday Night to buy it. Whenever you're there for another game or when the box office is open, just ask for College Night Tickets. They *should* know what you're talking about.

They do still have them, Ms. Fyzzix got them for tonight's game as well as the OTT game.
As opposed to TooCool's experience, they tried to sell her some 100 section tickets for $20, but Ms. Fyzzix said they were high up and at a weird angle. We took Row 8, sec. 219 FTW!
Do they still have college night $10?
