Kind of sad though. I usually rip my hair out and break things when the Kings are on TV: I am on the edge of my seat the whole time.

We are so far out of it now, I actually want to lose. Watching them score goals is like "well, hmm, that's really too little too late."

Sad.

I look forward to the day that this team is grinding and fighting to make the playoffs and make some noise IN the playoffs, not sucking and hoping for the first pick.

I want that old feeling back, like when the Avs were playing at Staples, and Glen Murray scored in overtime and it felt like someone ripped my larynx out as I stood on top of my seat.

I want THAT back.

In other "draft" news - The Oilers picked up another two points tonight. WooHoo!

Too bad they gave the Blue Jackets the extra point though. Although another 3 point game for teams in the bottom ten is good for the Kings so, WooHoo!

Yes, not a bad night for the Kings. Atlanta won a shootout. They were only 6 points ahead of the Kings...now they're 8 ahead!
