Very interesting point about guys with Kings tattooed on their butts as having a different mindset/commitment level/easiness to coach than mercenary aging free agents who aren't worried about the future of the organization beyond whether they'll get another contract. Crystallized the whole thing really.

If you take two otherwise equivalent or marginally equivalent players at a position in an age range or cost level, and one of them is a potential King For Life, which guy do you want?

Yes it does. The fact that Blake has really help Johnson grow so much in his first year, which seems to really to please DL. It sounds like he want Blake to help mentor some of the next group of young dmen too.
