Hadn't seen this posted. I wasn't able to record it today, but Mike O’Connell, the King's Director of Pro Development was on XM 204 today with Phil Esposito. Nothing ground-breaking, but I'll try to remember as much as I can...

Dan Cloutier? Took the conditioning assignment like a professional. Said Dean is hoping to revive his career.

Player in the system that he can see making the NHL? Purcell. Said Harrold, Moulson and Boyle are all doing great, but that Purcell would be his first pick to grab a regular spot next season.

Bernier? Developing well. Has a good attitude, focused. Will be an "outstanding talent."

Daniel Taylor? Echoed his Bernier comments.

Will Lombardi be active before the deadline? Said he wasn't that involved, but that chimes in when he should. Possible trades could include prospects, etc.

Zizka? Working with Deadmarsh, Both are 2 weeks out. Should be ready for the cup run.

Overall, he reiterated that he was happy with the core and feels good about the future.

Like I said, nothing ground-breaking.
