Don't know how many of you all saw it, but LaBarbara got up real slow after one of the scrums in front of the net, if I remember correctly it was in the second period, right before going away to commercial. From that point on, he was slow getting off the ice whenever he had a stoppage in play, etc.
Neither Jim or Bob mentioned it, but then again the camera's went away from him right when he was trying to get up......
thanks for the video, that is definately when it started, and from then on he was slow getting up, didnt seem to bother him movement wise during play, but at one point (I think during break going into overtime) he was at the bench and appeared to be hurting during conversation with Handzus. wondering if it was something to do with dehydration that he is proned to getting....

Not true.
It happened in between periods when he got a cell phone call from Cammi. Cammi told him that if he faked re-injuring his rib he could sit out for a couple of months and not hurt his stats to get a better contract down the road.
I thought he was just real tired. Like I mentioned on the game day thread he seems to lose steam in the later parts of games. As an example the weak goal he gave up to the Ducks in the Kings 3-1 win was something that seemed to me to be the result of a fatigued goalie not having his head in the game in the late going.
