I will update this post with notes after he's done talking for those of you without XM...
Here's everything...
On 07-08 LAK season - Lot of bright spots, lot of weak spots identified.
On December 2007 - "Kinda put the nail in the coffin" learned a lot during the slide.
Who on the Trade Deadline - We may see Wilsie, Dallman, Calder and Thornton traded before the deadline.
"More trades will come."
On Handzus - He's disappointed in his own play. He's getting better, healthier. Said if you have Handzus on your 3rd line, you have a good team. "He may also be on the move before the deadline, we'll see."
On Matt Ellis - called up. Signed through next year. May be indicative of a transaction? 4th Line checking forward.
Transactions - Tukonen sent down. He'll be back up. Ersberg called up from Manchester. He will dress tonight.
LaBarbera - Sick, will not dress tonight.
Cloutier - Will play tonight. His first game? Hat's off to him. The team played well in front of him, that gave him confidence. We'll see how he does.
Lombardi "showcasing Cloutier??" - Perhaps. He may play well and someone may want them for their playoff run. We'll see if an offer is made. "Other teams will be watching him."
Blake - Can't see him going to any team other than a California team or Colorado. Depends on his family, etc. Kings may re-sign him next season. Kings want him on the blue line next season.
Stuart - Will see how the deadline pans out, but the Kings would like to sign him as well. Said it would be nice to see him in a King uniform next season.
Kings will not tank to better their chances in the draft lottery.
The young guys are killing it, the young core will not be traded.
The draft is stacked, and he would love to see the first pick make an immediate jump to the NHL and have an immediate impact.
Said a lot of good defense prospects. That may effect what veteran blue liners are re-signed.
* And that's about it... Nothing extremely groundbreaking, but enjoy.

I find it interesting that Daryl says JLB is out tonight because he is sick, but he report on insidesocal says he has a groin injury.
Anyway the Kings can keep effective / useful players out of the lineup, here throughout the next 20 games, will have interchangeable names, such as :
"the flu", "sister in law having a baby" "a groin strain" "mild sports hernia" "cracked ankle from 3 weeks ago that is not healing" "just giving a rest tonight" "wonky elbow syndrome" "they sustained a gluteous maximus pull during our curling / team bonding day, when they were sweeping" and "acute hangnail"

I'm pretty sure Daryl said that Labarbera had a sore groin, not that he was sick. I don't recall him mentioning that it had been bothering him like Matt said on Inside the Kings since he didn't go too indepth on it but I'm 99% sure he didn't say that Labarbera is sick.
