2 games to go

For Tampa (tomorrow vs a hungry Washington team then their 3rd game in 4 days at Atlanta)

For the Kings (San Jose resting players, Anaheim resting players)

Kings and Tampa BOTH have 31 wins.

Tampa probably won't win their two games.

Which means, WHEN the Kings beat the Ducks on a MEANINGLESS last game of the season, they will be TIED in points, but the Kings will have ONE MORE WIN!

Which means Dean Lombardi is happy that he doesn't have to take Stamkos and instead, sweat out the lottery (which the Kings wont win).

Then, years from now, while Stamkos is tearing up the East coast and we're still waiting for whichever defenseman we selected to "mature", I'll once again bitch about a meaningless win.

No folks, I'm not saying the Kings should tank on purpose, but I wouldn't mind if Giuliano/Ellis/Ivanans played 22 minutes.

Can the Kings ever catch a fricken break?

man..seriously...i hope they dont finish 29th....if they lose the lottery, they lose the lottery...but what the hell?? 30th place for months and when they finally get out of the cellar, the season ends? to hell with that...lets be the worst we can be damn it..

so hopefully tampa beats FLA and goes to OT or shootout vs Wash

Who said not getting Stamkos is a loss? Even if they end up with the 2nd pick in the draft that still equals a franchise d man who can step into the lineup next season.

Let's just hope and pray that Tampa Bay suprises us and beats the Caps in regulation the Kings play a good game but still lose to the Sharks tomorrow.
