About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Last night I'm pretty sure they initially credited the goal to Dallman but apparently Brownie deflected it giving him 30 on the season.
From 17 all last season to
Keep Sully and Brown with Kopitar and they will each net 30+ goals a year.
I think that makes Frolov obsolete. Frolov worked well on a line with Sully and Kopitar as a play maker. He averaged almost 2 points a game during that stretch where Brown was out and even took down the Wings. Frolov needs to play with people that can finish his plays because the players he's paired with now can't do anything with a decent pass.

How about Stamkos and Cammalleri?
Keep the Brown - Kopitar - O'Sullivan line together.
Next year?! Pretty high hopes for your countryman, no?
High hopes and I don't see any reason for them to be too high. He will be close to 35 this season. What makes you think he is not able to get, I don't know, 38 goals next season?

Oh I think he's capable of scoring near 40 goals next season but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if he "only" scores 35. If your scenario does play out, where Brown scores 35 and O'Sullivan scores 30, Kopitar would probably have a great shot at 40 but I'd truly be more impressed with him scoring 30 goals and becoming stronger in the faceoff circle and in his own end.
I think the world of Anze and I have no doubt that he's only going to get better with more experience but he is only 20 years old. I happen to think he's capable of becoming the Slovenian Joe Thornton but I won't be disappointed if he isn't putting up 37 goals next year like Thornton did age 21.
