Some of those waiting for a change in the coaching staff were told that it wasn't going to be early in this stage of
DL's era but that it would be in the "near future."
DL hinted that the time to start the process is upon us:
"I expect the coaches to do everything possible to get the goals against down and to start the process now," Lombardi said. " . . . Just like the analogy: Lee's at Gettysburg. He's totally outnumbered and outmanned. But he can't throw up the white flag and say, 'I can't get it done.' "
Said Kings Coach Marc Crawford: "It's a legitimate criticism. When you look at our goals against, as a coaching staff, we're embarrassed by it, to be quite truthful."
It's reckoning time!

I remember Crow saying a couple times that he just didn't know what's wrong with this team. That's certainly no way to address issues. Being the coach, he should be well aware of just what the problems are.

and we should be seeing CHANGES on the ice after 150 games to things like countering aggressive pk's, winning faceoffs, giving up fewer turnovers, making blind passes up the middle to lord only knows who, etc.
This team is far from contender status, but it should be playing way better than it has over this season. I just think Crow has run out of ideas as far as how he is going to motivate this team to play as a soild group. I think firing him will be detrimental, but sometimes you have to take a step back to take two forward.
Agree with that. F.O's, PP, Giveaways are a major problem and are or has the coaching staff even addressed those problems? Sure doesn't look like it to me.
