*sigh*... I feel bad for the guy. His career over the last 4 years has been a total disaster and now it appears he was **** on by the organization... so much for being anyone's "favorite".

I thought I remember an Inside the Kings article in the past that stated that management told him to take some time off.
He makes it sound like they just didn't say anything to him.
Yeah, you have to remember that we are only getting one side of the story in that interview.
Who knows what was said between Lombardi, Hextall, and Cloutier when they sent him down. Maybe he had a crappy attitude when he got down there and when he was injured they just decided to change his perspective by keeping him on the shelf for awhile, or maybe the kids like Quick and Taylor were playing well enough that they deserved to stay in there. Who knows?
All we do know is that Cloutier did not play well in his time with the Kings and that right now he is lucky to be getting another shot.
