About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Short one here from ole' Chummers........

Just wanted to chuckle at Brian Burke. He reminds me of Phil Esposito when he was the general manager of the Rags........Burke just HAS to make trades. Seriously, JS Aubin for a 7th rounder? Brandon Bochenski for future considerations?
Burke reminds me of the kid in class who HAS to hear himself talk. Ole' Burkie Boy is infatuated with himself.
Love how the nitwit won't converse with Kevin Lowe over the Penner situation. Such a dunce.
See what Chummers is relegated after such a quiet day by Los Angeles? Bad luck for us King fans.
Tom Preissing
Ladislav Nagy
Brian Willsie
Derek Armstrong
etc.
stay with the Kings. Brutal. Granted I reailize injuries come into play with a few of those guys staying..........just saying it sucks as a King fan.
Nagy was paid 3.75 million for what amounts to one hat trick and make 10 good shifts all year long.
Preissing looks like an athletic guy new to hockey in a beer league that can make a few plays but isn;t overly stable on skates yet. He has no grit, no passion. He does have three years remaining on a very nice contract though.
Brian Willsie ranks up there with some of the most frustrating of King players the past ten years or so. He offers little to nothing.
Derek Armstrong should be right next to you and me during a Kings power play......not on the half boards making decisions already read by the opposition 5 seconds prior to Army concocting them in his little head. Can't stand Amrstrong.
I don't mind letting Scott Thornton play out the rest of the season as a King. He isn't the fella who scored 26 goals for the Sharks, but he seems to care and you gotta pat him on the back for the Lubo/Hawk incident.
Rob Blake......what can ya say about ole' number 4? The guy was drafted by Los Angeles prior to Wayne Gretzky being dealt here, he scored his first goal in a King uniform in the 1990 playoffs.......he DESERVES the opportunity to stay in Los Angeles particularly due to his SUCCESS in the playoffs as Kings captain when he lead them to ZERO playoff victories in 1998 and 2000. Brilliant move holding out after sporting a -3 in 97/98 and getting hurt in 98/99. Oh Mr. Blake what do we do with ya? I still resent him burying Ziggy Palffy three times in 20 seconds in 2001.
Michal Handzus better score 18 goals have 24 assists and dominate defensively next year is all I can say. Kyle Calder better not break a thumb this time around.
Chummy gotta go.

Chummy is much more tolerable when he/she (was that ever cleared up?) does not speak in third person.
I have a question: If the fans of the worst team in the league don't want these players on the team, what makes them think any other team does? What will Thornton, Willsie, or Nagy do for another team that's going into the play offs? I'd have to say pretty much what they've done here.
Blake... who gives a ****. He wasn't going to bring much, DEFINITELY not a first. He wants to stay, let him stay. Stuart has arguably been at the very least as good as Blake this season, and all we got for him is a second and a fourth... DO THE MATH.

I like Chummy more then CBGB if not for the fact that CBGB once offered to buy me a beer at Staples. Therefore Chummy better raise the stakes if he wants to get the vote of this super delegate.
