Kozun has slowed down considerably since WJC. Too bad.

Yeah, except it was nice to see the move work for a change... lol

Little goof up yesterday. Montreal did not play Val-d'Or yesterday. That game is tonight.

Year-to-date stats updated in Post 1. I also cut and pasted the playoff information about the CHL teams from yesterday's post to today's.

And to go along with Linden Vey being named WHL Player of the Month for January, Martin Jones starts off February by being named WHL Player of the Week (3-0, 0.67 goals against avg and .978 save %):

WHL website - Hitmen's Martin Jones named Boston Pizza WHL Player of the Week

02-09-10 Schedule

QMJHL

Montreal (Berube) @ Val-d'Or

WHL

Brandon (Schenn) vs Regina (Teubert)
Calgary (Jones, Kozun) @ Swift Current

==============================

And here is a brief playoff outlook for the teams of the Kings CHL prospects. The only team that is out of a playoff spot right now is Colten Teubert's Regina Pats. While I would hate to see Teubert end his CHL career by missing the playoffs, I wouldn't mind getting him to Manchester as soon as possible for their playoff run.

OHL - Eastern Conference
#1 Barrie (Clifford)

OHL - Western Conference
#4 - Plymouth (Czarnik)
#5 - Sault Ste. Marie (Muzzin, Nolan)

QMJHL - Telus Western Division
#1 - Rouyn-Noranda (Deslauriers)
#3 - Montreal (Berube)

WHL - Eastern Conference
#2 Calgary (Jones, Kozun)
#3 Brandon (Schenn)
#5 Medicine Hat (Vey)
#10 Regina (Teubert) - 5 points back of the #8 seed

WHL - Western Conference
#6 Kelowna (Wudrick) - the 9th seed is 23 points behind the Rockets.
