Yeah, while working I saw the special edition cover of Fletch and one of his i.d. cards was a hockey player with the Kings. They should have left it in >.< but of course I am biased... "6 foot 9 with the fro" is a pretty good line lol.

They filmed that scene with and also one of him with the Dodgers. That's why he punches that picture of Lasorda in the Chief's office.

I don't know about Chevy Chase but a guy by the name of Tim Chevelde played in the league during the 90's.

Janycek did ok for the Kings considering his development was horribly stalled by being stuck in Chicago's minor league system too long due to the logjam behind retire-already-why-don't-you Tony Esposito.

Janycek was the 80's version of Jason Labarbera.

Thread titles can be misleading...

I thought it was a news story (and why NOT) saying the Kings had actually signed Chevy to play goal, just like Billy Crystal took the plate for the Yanks today.
