Does anyone know what the deal is with Center Ice? Will they be showing the first two rounds of the playoffs? I am unfortunately a Time Warner subscriber in Southern CA and this morning when I checked to tape the NY Rangers vs NJ Devils game all they had on the Center Ice channels was baseball.
My channel guide hadn't updated to actually show the games, but NJ/NY and Col/Min are both supposed to be on. Check channels 1/2 of your CI package; for instance channels 810 and 811 will show the games for me while 812-820 have baseball. Kind of a pain since the channel guide didn't update, so I have to record the generic Center Ice block from 3-7pm which will include an hour of dead space.

Would appreciate any info you might have.
Thanks!
For the last three years they dedicate fewer channels to hockey during the playoffs and show a free preview of the baseball games to get subscribers. But we've never missed a playoff game on CI unless it's shown on VS or another channel.
Just look in the regional sports networks...they are there. For example, the only place that the Colorado game shows up in the DirecTV guide is on Altitude.
Yes.. every year DirecTV is lasy-ass slow getting the first set of playoff games in the receiver on-screen guides, but they are scheduled and on DirecTV's website. I'm guessing by tomorrow it'll all be properly loaded.
Don't rely on the regional channels right now cuz it may be on local but if Versus or the NHL network airs the game that channel will be blacked out, unless you are in the local market.
The other night the Devs/Flyers had the Philly feed on NHL Net but luckily the DVR was intuitive enough to record that channel for me even though I had it set for the NJ feed. Don't count on that to happen every time. Check the National Schedule before you set your DVR's.
