Considering the game is played BEFORE the Lightning game and there is absolutely no reason to assume the Lightning will win, no reason not to enjoy yourself and root for the Kings to crush the ****ers for ol' times sake.
Could I have? Absolutely. I'd rather we lose this one and have a better chance of beating them for years to come then vice-versa.
Let's see, if I wasn't a die hard King fan it would be real easy to root for a team that won a Stanley cup and still has a great team.
The Greatzky era is long gone here in LA. Kings have a decade of pathetic hockey that young fans here in Southern California have been exposed to. Can't blame them for being Ducks fans.

Good call. What do you think the Chicago Bulls fans were like before Michael Jordan? Once they won that first championship, EVERYONE was a Bulls fan. I grew up in NJ and more than half of my school was Bulls fans.
