Since o'sullivan is able to handle 1st line duty and is looking great on the 1st line, it only makes sence that Cammi will be moved.I watched the practice at HS the other day and had a conversation with Jimmi Fox who is convinced that Cammy will NOT stick around.Foxy was also certain Balke was as good as gone and maybe even Fro!Flame away!
PS>>I would hate to see Cammy moved but he is peaking ahaed of the rest of the team plus the contract issues.
This one will hurt as much as the Zhitnik trade(no,still not over that one..,Tsygurov?really?Gosh!)
Go Kings!
Oh, and Crow is here for the Cup run so he'll be sticking around for a while.
...a long while
As long as the team gets better after these trades, then i'm all for it. I have no allegiance for Cammy. After the arbitration hearing, i lost all respect for him. He wanted $6 mill after one great season. Go figure
Losing Frolov and Cammy would be typical of the Kings and very short-sighted. I am sick of the kings getting rid of valuable assests, only to see them excell after their departure. If Lombardi had a brain in his head, he would move O'Sullivan to the second line center position between Frolov andd/or Cammy/Purcell, and then make a first line of Brown-Kopitar-Cammy/Purcell. We would have a legit top six. Why get rid of Blake when he is playing well for the unknown of a pick or a stupid trade? Keep Blake around and let him mentor Piskula, Petiot, Harrold, Hersley, etc. We will be awfully soft without Blake (Vish, Priessing), and inexperienced with JJ. Why are Kings manager always so fast to get rid of valuable assets. It does not seem that too many Manchester players are ready to step up, and most great free agents do not want to sign here.

A player negotiating for the best contract possible...what an *******.
Though, I do agree that I feel "no allegiance" to him either. But, then again, I feel no allegiance to Kopitar, JMFJ, Frolov, O'Sullivan or Bernier either. DL can trade all of these guys for all I care. As long as he does it b/c it's part of his plan and not b/c Tim Liewekie is putting pressure on him, I really don't care who gets moved.
Finally, to suggest that just b/c O'Sullivan has stepped it up recently Cammy is all of a sudden expendable is, as some has pointed out, short sighted. There's no rule that says we can't keep both of them. And, though Camalleri might not be a defensive specialist, he's a definite power play specialist. To have Camalleri around when this team is a legitimate contender (which I believe will happen under DL's tenure) would be huge for us.

He didn't mention trading Frolov. I would wait to trade cammy to see how Purcell fits in. Sully and Frolov stay. Cammy may get us a good young D that is NHL ready or close to it. If Cammy is traded, maybe it happens next year after DL knows how far the other forwards in the system have progressed.
Some people here won't let go of the Cammy and a pick thing...It's like a bulldog with lockjaw!
There are so many other possibilities that could be explored to the same useless speculation. My only hope is that WHEN (not if) the Kings make a trade, they make a smart trade that really does benefit this team. The track record for trades over the life of this organization h
