John Buccigross thinks the Pens need a good scorer to go with Crosby.

Trading 5+ years guarenteed of Staal for 1+ y ears of Cammalleri doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. Staal doesn't even turn 20 until just before Frozen Fury, so I'm not sure why people are so fast to trade him because of a sophomore slump. Eric Staal had the benefit of being in the AHL his 2nd pro season after an underwhelming rookie NHL campaign. Then he busted out in his 3rd pro year.

I'm going to say it will be

Cammy
for
Crosby

Crosby is hurt now and no good for them to make a run. Cammy will replace his scoring and give them a break in the Cap.

I hate to see us give up on Cammy so quick, but I think Crosby will be a good addition to our team

I wouldn't be too concerned with the Staal's lack of goal scoring this season, but his assists are way down.

The Kings definitely need a 2nd line center. Trading Cammy for an unproven center is a big risk.
