Edit: Oops. I inverted Fro and Cammalleri's goal totals from last season in my head. So Frolov HAS scored 35 goals in a season, and Cammalleri's high was 34 last year. Thsi last-10-game comparison is still not a valid way to assess a player's value, IMO. If MC tanks for the rest of the season, his value may drop accordingly, but I expect that he'll start putting up some points between now and the end of the season.
But it IS a valid way to judge player's streakiness...
I DON'T want a streaky scorer that will most likely demand 6 million or walk for nothing (in case we don't trade him).

Which is why I said, "I know it's a small sample."
But the fact is that Cammalleri doesn't do a whole lot else other than score. And I've been saying... that doesn't make him a bad player... but when you have one job and several different types of people, ranging from defensemen to rookies, are doing it better than you are while also playing more complete games, then it makes me wonder.
Not to defend Eklund, but can you guys come up with hockey rumours on a daily basis?....thats what they are RUMOURS...get over it. You guys all read em, you know you do or you come up with your own trade proposals. Thats why this is a discussion board. It is what it is......

This dude mainly posts various rumors here and there throughout the year, and is only "overworked" near the deadline and when UFA movement is happening. That is more or less it.
Look at it this way:
There are 30 teams in this league. There are almost 1500 players out there. Add a BUNCH of prospects and/or UFAs, and you get COUNTLESS and ENDLESS combinations. Not to mention that he is pretty much saying the same **** all over again: Blake this, Blake that,
It's NOT a hard work to do. I will NOT give him a break.
And I DON'T read 'em unless they are posted on this forum.
