Will battle for the puck and try to win games, is becoming more of a vocal leader and with the new contract should be part of the Kings long term

the answer is, i don't see any reason why he wouldn't be... trading Blake would mean Rob waived his no-trade clause which is something he doesn't have to do.

Yean I could see that happening, but at that same time I think the brass would be better served by giving the C to the future of this club, not the past.

who?

everybody (well those likely to qualify) other than Cammalleri would be FAR too young. at least in my opinion... and with Mike only then having a year remaining on HIS contract, i think that'd rule him out as well.

i do NOT believe Sidney Crosby should have been made captain either.
