Not only that, I read somewhere that he's buddies with Joe Thorton.
I would rather trade Cammalleri for Suter, but now it's probably going to take Cammalleri and one of our 2nd round picks to land Suter, or a similar player.
Of course, some IDIOT will bring this up at the Breakfast meeting.
Really, Not DL's style.
Then explain an older Lubo at 5.65 for the next 5 after 07/08!
It's absolutely his style to make a deal like this.
Then again
Campbell take Blake's place.
Campbell is 10 years younger than Blake.
Campbell plays for the same 6-mil cap number as Blake.
No more Blake.
It will actually help the Kings.
Why would Brian Campbell want to play for the Kings? Or any big name free agent?
You've got 29 better options than LA (right now). The Kings are not in a position(right now) to attract any big names. We saw that last off-season, and I suspect we'll see it again.
Campbell is more likley to take less $$ and go back to play for the team he loves-Buffalo.
I've said it before; now that Stuart's gone we definitely have the most pussy defense in the NHL (sans JMFJ). Getting Campbell woul complete the NHL's first ever "icecapades" defensive squad. Campbell is real good offensively, but other than his 2006 playoff hit on Umberger, he doesn't have the presence of a physical d-man.
You have to have a bigger, more rugged defenseman in your lineup. Now just imagine if JMFJ was 6'5"!
