Answer: Bryz was going to be a UFA, we already had 3 goaltenders under contract and he didn't want to make the same mistake he did with Cloutier

Answer: Yes, every single one of his F.A. signings have stunk. They were "fillers". Have the gigantic free agent signings in New York and Philadelphia won them their divisions? Philadelphia is barely in the playoff race for all of THEIR free agent signings.

How did Zdeno Chara signing work out for Boston 2 years ago?

c) you'll bitch about Marc Crawford.

Answer: O'Sullivan, Frolov, Cammalleri, Kopitar and Brown have all THRIVED under Crawford. Their statistics prove that. The Kings are 6th in goals, and 10th in PP. Just because Dean Lombardi didn't give him the goaltending and the defense he deserved, you can't fault Crow for that.

d) you'll bitch about goaltending again (someone always does after its already been answered)

Answer: Who was available? Nashville offered us Vokoun but wanted Bernier in the deal. Has Vokoun catapulted Florida into the playoffs? Nope. Luongo was available last season but Vancouver is barely in the playoffs as well.

e) you'll bitch about our future

Answer: Nobody works harder than we do and look at our past draft picks and how they all played in the last world juniors.

f) you'll bitch about not drafting Stamkos and drafting Doughty or Schenn

Answer: as much as he would love to have another franchise sniper, Stanley Cups are won with defense. We have JMFJ, but after that the cupboard is empty. We need to stockpile the future from the back end.

g) you'll bitch about "no trade clauses"

Answer: It was the only way he could get players to sign here.

I haven't heard anyone bitch about this since November.....and WingHater is right; Phoenix had the worst record in the NHL at the time Bryz was available, so we couldn't get him......period.

2. Nagy: as good as gone.

3. Preissing: given what similar players are now making, I love him on that contract.

4. Calder: wouldn't be offended by a trade

F. Stamkos will be drafted, giving up Kopi/Stam down the middle for at least 5 more years.

Dallas' pick + other picks + prospects will be trade to draft Schenn or Pieterangelo.

Can someone please bring up the coverage of the Kings on FSW and how it gets worse every year I.E

1. We went from a few preseason games a year down to none. Preseason and spring (when other teams are fighting for the playoffs) are the only times we get to see the young prospects. Preseason is also the only time of year a King's fan still has hope for play-offs. PLEASE SOMEONE MENTION THIS

2. We used to have pregame shows on FSW, you know...like the other teams. Now we get the OCCASIONAL postgame show.

3. McSorley was fantastic and his input was appreciated on those pre and post-game shows. He gave actual opinions that weren't cookie cutter and taken from a handbook, even if they weren't overly "PC". Any chance of bringing him back? I know Patrick O'Neal is a master of his craft and all...

3. The "Kings Insider" is great! Any chance of more than one freakin episode per season?!?

King's fans get to watch other team compete in the Stanley Cup play-offs every year. How about showing the loyal fans that have stuck around through all these rebuilds and years of mediocrity that management gives a rat's ass about these fans and addressing these areas! Until then we'll just keep listening to our broken up transmissions of internet broadcasts of preseason games.

Not so much last year, but pretty well this year. New career high in points, plays a ton of minutes, and does all that while being paired up with the awful Dennis Wideman.
