All of the excuses some of you put on here as the reason for lack of HD broadcasts are just that. Excuses. But I would like to know why broadcasts nowadays looks worse than games did 25 years ago? Seriously, I watched a classic game broadcast on NHL channel of the game between the Oilers and Kings back in I believe 84 and it was much clearer than the BS we get shown now. There is absolutely no excuse for that. NONE. The games are damn near unwatchable. You want to make the game more viewer friendly? Make it more watchable so you can actually read names on the jerseys and maybe just maybe, see the f'n puck. Also, I wish somebody could explain to me why Jim Fox didn't have his speech impediment (starting words before finishing the previous word) when he did color during the 1993 Stanley Cup games I just saw highlights of?
Cable? I switched to DirecTV a few months ago and the picture is 100 times better...

Dish Network. I'm not kidding when I tell you how bad the picture is. Like a 5th generation feed or something. When I watch highlights everynight on NHL Network every other team's feed is way better than ours.
"How are you going to fast forward the development of young defensemen in the organization in order to match what we have in our current NHL forwards?"
He shoots, he scores.
Mine isn't as good, but I'd like to know:
"Do you consider next year another rebuilding year? Should fans be prepared for another year out of the playoffs? What are your expectations, exactly?"
Q1 What is the job of a GM?
Is it to find good players that can play well with others, and play a roll ? and how would you grade yourself on the free agents you have signed?
Q2 Do the Kings (AEG) own a home? One they could bring potintal free agents here to show them what the good life and weather is all about?
You know what's sad? CBGB is really going to ask all those questions the first time he gets an opportunity. He is born to be a bitcher and he can't help it. He is capable of asking and bitching about hundreds of things he knows what the answer is going to be.
It's not about getting the answer - it's about bitching!!
(and this goes for many LGK-ers)
As long as we are bitching and moaning, we feel alive. Once fans of the #30 NHL team stop bitching, that franchise is dead. It has no fans.
On a related note, why do we get hardly any games in HD? To the best of my recollection, they've only broadcast 2 games in HD this year for the Kings (and one of them was a Kings vs. Ducks game). There have been way more Ducks games in HD this year. Not to mention that every stinkin' Lakers game is in Hi-Def. What gives???
I had a friend who worked for Fox Sports West and said that they only had one HD set of cameras to split between all the teams they cover...and with the Kings record, well, low priority.
