Breakfast With The GM - The SHORT Version

Its too beautiful a day to transcribe the over 2 hours of Dean Lombardi (I will later tonight), but it was.... I can't really tell - Was it cool or just the same old rhetoric? Will we make the playoffs next year or are we in for another two to three years of waiting?

I will have all of these questions answered and more (Dean actually stopped CBGB when he saw all of the notes and was really curious about them, which prompted about a half hour interview where he answered CBGB's question about the trade deadline, Rob Blake and the truth about what happened, the deal that almost happened and he even SLIPPED about a player that's coming BACK!

Bob Miller MC'd the event and it was packed - they had HOT food this event (sausage, bacon, eggs) and they gave away hats, yearbooks, license plate holders, etc)

The problem was, Bob was in charge of the question box (names were submitted ahead of time and I watched as Bob went through them and found lots of ladies with questions)

Dean presented many charts and showed the fans what he's up against and how free agency does NOT fix things.

There were lots of laughs (at Avery's expense) and he and Hexy explain the qhole Bryzgalov fiasco.

But he did talk about Staaaaammmmkkkkkkooooooosssssss (during and at length with CBGB)

Look for it later tonight when the sun goes down.

I love it when I hear about how the kool aid kicks in and all the whiners begin to once again swing around to the Jim Jones way of thinking and start to boo the people who are ranting about the same things they piss and moan about here.
