Re-sign him. 2-3 years for the right amount.

No, thanks. He'll revert back to sucking. I'll take the prospects or picks.

Re-sign him unless a first round-pick or top prospect comes our way.

I voted for Option 1. At this point, with only 4 NHL defensemen signed through next season (Harrold included), I think it'd be wise to re-sign him after seeing what level he's consistently played at the last 2 months before we trade him and inevitably lose him.

It really annoyed me that everyone bashed him and called him garbage early on. Stuart's been a solid stay-at-home defenseman throughout his career, and he's been playing very sound hockey.
Ideally, we trade him for some picks and then we re-sign him at season's end. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a contract extension though.
I voted for re-sign unless the you can get a 1st rounder or top prospect. But I'd just rather try and trade him for whatever and re-sign him in the summer. I believe since the day he signed here, he was going to be re-signed this summer, once Blake's big contract comes off the shelf and stuff. But ya if Dean can't get anything worthwhile, lock him up for 2 years or so
This year is an audition, right? After a shaky first 2 months and an injury filled December, over the past 6 weeks we've been witness to what a healthy, comfortable and confident Brad Stuart can do.
Been saying for awhile now you need to resign this guy. He has been what we all thought he was supposed to be but it looks like it took him some time to get healthy and used to his surroundings.
Trade Blake and Modry and resign Stuart. Pencil in Harold (spelling?) into Modry's spot next season. He is ready as well.
You guys are dreaming if you think we can trade him then re-sign him on July 1st. There's only a handful of guys that would be willing to do that for their team.
People were bashing this D early on, and rightfully so, but lately they've come together quite well. I would only imagine 1 defenseman this year will not be on the team next (my guess is either Modry or Stuart, unless Blake wants to call it quits, which I doubt).
