Given the Kings weakness on right wing I think managment probably has Purcell making the team next year.
I'm not sure what position Boyle will play in the NHL. Will he be a winger or a center? He's certainly going to be a power play specialist at some point, he's great at planting himself in front of the net and his length helps him control lose pucks. To me, that type of player is a winger but I guess we'll just wait and see.

If Cammalleri does get moved I think Purcell definitely makes the team.
Boyle was played on the LW before he was sent down and I don't see how Boyle can supplant Frolov or O'Sullivan on the top 2 lines. I can definitely see Boyle playing on 3rd line with Handzus then moving to the Center position on the 2nd pp unit.
The 2nd pp would look something like O'Sullivan/Boyle/Purcell which is a nice improvement from Calder/Armstrong/Frolov unit that we saw on occasion this season.
