The guy can skate, he has great hockey sense, when he shots the puck it is almost always on net in a great location, the dude is big and ran over Phunuef. I am getting ahead of myself but he is starting to remind me of one of my all time favorite players in Cam Neely. Finally we have some size on this team in Purcell ( Purcell will fill out even more eventually) and Boyle. These guys will be great linemates for years to come hopefully.
I love it. He's also showing a lot of grit. He's using his size and going to the net and getting dirty like Calder, and isn't backing down from confrontations. Boyle is giving the rest of the forwards a nice boost of aggression. Hope he sticks with the big club for the rest of the year.
count me in on this club! such a waste on the 4th line though. I'm glad he is getting time on the big club. can't wait to see him get even better next year.
