Right in the middle of the pack and not bad for a rookie center playing mostly on LW on this night. And as far as confidence goes: If i remember correctly Crawford put Boyle on the ice to specifically take a faceoff in a close game (can't remember which one of the road trip) .
Not only did Boyle score... not only did he run over Phaneuf... but he was in Phaneuf's face all night long and talking s***. That was a good sign.
