About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum.
I watch a lot of games and I get to experience a lot of different commentators. I can honestly say without bias that Bob and Jim are easily the best in the league. Losing either one of them would be devestating.
I also have watch a number of other games and can't compare any of them to Bob and Jim.
I think they should do the Stanley Cup Series. That would be Cool...
Love Bob and Jim. Didn't like Jim much at first when he yelled "Tweeners" all the time. He has improved, yet still shows his passion for the game. Lucky to have Bob and Jim as the announcing team here.
Bob Miller is the best ------but Jim Fox irritates me so much -------words cannot express how I feel! I watch the games and I don't need Fox telling me what I just saw! I wish he would take his marker pens and go somewhere else! And why does he feel it necessary to add a vowel to the end of the majority of his words, (game-a, Kings-a) etc. I would like to hear anyone except him.
Go ahead and flame away...while I like the timber of Bob's voice I can't stand the way he calls a game. He rarely anticipates a play is always late with names and if he knows hockey as well as I'm sure he does I would love to hear more insightful commentary from him. Yes, I know that Jim is the color guy and I don't care for him either...I would love to hear them both relax...Jim is so stiff that even if he's saying something insightful he's just so annoying. I would love to hear more attitude in the calling of the game. I realize that all these things I feel are missing are the same reasons most of you love Bob and Jim.
Great job by both of them as usual. The best out there by far. Jim Fox will be the Kings next coach, I learn something from him every game. He is a smart hockey guy.

Bob is Bob, and we all know that. He is a steady announcer with no frills and that is what we expect every game. Vin Scully was the same way, are you going to rip him too? While I agree with you on Jim's stiffness, you can't argue his knowledge of the game. He says something insightful every game. Do you listen to what he says? You might learn something about the game. I have been watching hockey for 37 years or so and I learn a lot from Jim. Just sayin'.
