A Kings Win would have put them that much closer to the Oilers (5 points). Now, with 17 games to play there's now a great chance that the Oilers won't finish in last place (9 points out) and they won't give Anaheim the 1st pick in the draft. (Of course the Oilers could win the lottery but Napoleon won't allow that to happen.)
We have Dan Cloutier's stellar play to thank.
Once again reverting back to vintage Dan Cloutier form.
It was beautiful.
The Kings scored. Brown had a shorty. Stuart and Modry were missed and Dan came to the rescue.
Can we have a few more like this, Dan?
Floppa and the Av's should be a delicious test. Then Ersberg taking on Minnesota the next night?
Beautiful, Dan.
Just beautiful.
That much closer to...........

Well, I sure wasn't one loving Clutz tonite. I'm just never happy with a loss and glad you guys are so happy in your lala land.
Yeah, right. When we've got when your cheering your heart out for Stamkos tearing it up for the Kings we'll see who is in "lala land."
As for Cloutier, based on the highlights, it didn't look like he played a bad game. The rebounds were brutal, as usual, but he was hung out to dry on a couple of those goals and screened by JMFJ on one. The first goal looked stoppable, but I didn't see anything unnatural for a Kings goaltender.
Freakin A, look out for the Brown train! Dude is tearing it up! Hands O Stone no more, that is for sure. Great to see O'Sullivan score too.
Overall entertaining highlights and spectacular outcome!
