The Kings are not going to get raped by the Ranagers, by trading Kopitar for Gomez. Maybe O'sullivan for Gomez as a salary dump by the Rangers. There is no way the Kings are getting rid af Kopitar.

It was mentioned in another thread but I can't seem to find it. Anyways, that Bleacher Report site is trash.

Why don't we just trade "superstar Anze Kopitar" for a bag of pucks? That's all we're getting back ever according to most of these rumors!

If we're having such a difficulty getting to the salary floor, (which we're not going to have a problem doing), we could always just give O'Sullivan and Stoll and Richardson ridiculous 1 or 2 year term contracts with "team options" for remaining years.

Anyone with half a brain knows that the hockey buzz is hogwash. I know its all BS before reading it but I'm sill shocked at how rediculous these rumors are everytime I make the mistake of reading them.

What a bunch of crap. DL could've signed Gomez to that contract while keeping AZ - cheaply - under his rookie deal. DL could have had BOTH for a season or two, then be forced to make a decision. Besides, if having those two means the Kings are at or very near the salary floor, then we'd still have money to sign AZ to a money deal.

This is all a bunch of bull.

Carry on.

Wow, two of our top line players for a guy that didn't want to play here a year ago. What GM wouldn't do that. Oh yeah I forgot about Prucha and the wealth of experience he brings.

Who in their right mind would ever trade Kopitar and O'Sullivan for Gomez?

Who ever thought this flaming pile-o-crap is flat out RETARTED!!

I think people like to take fantasy hockey just a little too far. No f---in' way DL pulls the trigger on this one.

And what I don't get is why everyone is going nuts over the fact that the Kings aren't at the league minimum. All managment needs to do is sign a few over-priced free agents (I don't want to get into who, but they are out there) to meet the minimum.

And regarding the of negotiations Stoll's & Sully's respective contracts, they will happen.

Ten million is not that much to fill when you add in these two guys.

Obviously the dreaming of a Rangers fan and not a legitimate trade rumor.

Where do I begin? I'm a seventeen year old who was born in Staten Island, New York and I currently live in New Jersey. I have a very simple life and enjoy reading, writing, watching and playing hockey, and could watch movies all day long. My sports teams come before anything (Yes, even schoolwork) and I'm both a die-hard New York Rangers and San Francsico Giants fan.
I wouldn't get too antsy over some 17 year old Ranger fan boy.

I love the recurring theme of us seeking veteran leadership for our young team by trading away our young team. So who is Gomez supposed to mentor when Anze and Patrick are gone? Yeah, right!
